1 Minutes of Previous Meeting<=

During the recent wet weather there had been a
collapse of the dry stonewall on the northern boundary into the adjacent
field. It was decided that =

Secretary would investigate whether the insurance policy covered repairs =
to
the boundary wall. 3.=

An electrical survey had been carried out in
accordance with the last Quinquennial Survey. Mr Watkin would obtain the appro=
priate
certificate. 4.=

A new carved memorial collection plate would be
obtained. Mr Lord of Hough =
had
kindly offered to produce the plate which would be obtained from Church
funds. It was decided that =

A report within the Archdeacons Visitation lett=
er
stated that some churches were subject to excessive standing charges. It was decided that Mrs Carter w=

obtain details and discuss options with the Treasurer. |

clearing the Church drains. More

cloth being obtained as a memorial to Miss Chambers. |

that the Policy would be adopted by the PCC. |

Saturday 8th September: Lincolnshire Old Churches Trust sponso=
red
bicycle ride. The Secretary=

ensure the Church was open for visiting cyclists with notices placed at t=

ised
within the village, half of which goes to St Wilfrid’s, and 25 cycl=
ists
visited Honington. Su=

30th September: Harvest Festival Evensong at 5:00pm followed b=

Harvest Supper in Manor House Barn courtesy of Mr and Mrs Paske. Sa=

17th November: Church yard clearance and Church winter prepara=
tion
maintenance to be carried out from 9:00am. Other members of the village suc=
h as
Mr Dyson and Mr Holley could be approached for assistance. Mo=

It was unanimously agreed that the Secretary wo=

write to Mick and Janice Griffin, following Mick’s recent stroke,

Safety Assessment and Fire Safety Assessment will be completed by the end=
