1
Minutes of Previous Meeting
1. The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as a true record and signed by the Chairman.
2
Matters Arising
2. The wooden ladder has been placed in the belfry and there was no need to cut the ladder in half as anticipated.
3
Fabric Report
3. Since the last meeting the tower has been cleared of birds' nests and other debris, the ivy has been removed from the south wall of the nave and the boiler roof has been repaired.

4. Two quotes have been requested for the required repairs to the Church roof. Secretaries Note: Following the rain on 29th July 2006, it was noted that there was still a leak through the lead nave roof immediately inside and to the right of the south door. This leak would also require repairing. Mr Paske is asked to add this requirement to the quote request.

5. An electrical survey is still required as a matter of urgency. Grantham Electrical was used by Barkston Church. It was suggested that the blown light bulbs could be replaced at the same time as the survey. It was decided that the Secretary would arrange for a survey to be completed.

6. St Wilfrid's electrical bills were still being delivered to Honington Lodge, the home of the previous Treasurer. It was decided that the Secretary would write to Powergen stating the address of the new Treasurer.

7. A new Church sign on Main Street was required. It was suggested that Mr Aston might have already made a new sign. Secretary's Note: The missing tower window stone guard was located prior to Sunday's Service and would require fixing to the window. Secretary's Note: The Secretary will write to the Fabric Warehouse enquiring whether spare material could be donated to the Church to provide further barriers against bat damage.

Lincolnshire Old Churches Trust Sponsored Cycle Ride
8. A letter has been received requesting that St Wilfrid's be available for visitors taking part in the Lincolnshire Old Churches Sponsored Bike Ride on the 9th September 2006. In previous years the Church has been left open, with occasional visits by members of the PCC. Volunteers for occasional visits to the Church during this event were requested to contact the Secretary. It was decided that the Secretary would advertise the event in the village and provide a temporary sign indicating the Church location from Main Street. All

11. Although 31st December 2006 will be a fifth Sunday, there will be a Service at Hough on the Hill at 9:30am instead of Honington, as this is to be the last day in office for Revd Fiddyment.

12. Easter Day 2007 will be on 8th April and it is unlikely that Revd Hadley will hold a Service at Honington.

16. It was decided that fundraising options for 2007 should be considered at the next meeting of the PCC.

17. A health and safety report had previously been completed for St Wilfrid's. It was decided that if a copy of the report could be found it should be updated by the Secretary.

18. It was suggested that a spring clean of the Church should be organised for 21 April 2007, prior to the first service of the year, followed by a social event.
